Every empire in the game’s one shared world, players and the server’s own alike, ranked by what it has built. It is the same table the game shows, and it moves while the belt plays.

What the points count

Everything an empire has spent: buildings at every level they went through, research, and every ship it owns. A full store counts for nothing, so the number moves only when something is built — and falls when a fleet is lost.

One number, no more

The table says how big an empire is, not what it is big in, and not where it lives. How strong a neighbour’s fleet is, and which planet is theirs, only your probes will tell.
